Hi, I’m Riccardo, a trainee teacher from from Italy. I’ve recently graduated in Modern Linguistic at the university and I thought that I could have gone with the Erasmus project, because it’s a one-time life experience (unless I start studying for a second degree) and because it’s a great opportunity to visit another country. I have a strong belief in my life and I’m happy that the choices I make are always the right ones, even when they are wrong.

Szia! After two months of traineeship in the school of Lenkey Janos, I can definitely say I couldn’t have chosen a better place where to be and this was another great choice of mines. I felt really welcomed by my contact person mrs. Judit Vargáné Bárdos and all the teachers, and the atmosphere in general was peaceful and relaxed. I received and shared kindness and sweetness every day from teachers and students and it made me wish to stay in Eger and extend my stay for even more time.

Két hónap után a Lenkey János iskolában gyakornokként bátran mondhatom, hogy nem is választhattam volna jobb helyet, ahol lehetnék, és ez ismét egy nagyszerű döntés volt részemről. Embracing the unknown

by Riccardo Spinicci

Good morning everybody,

shall we start with a smile?

Do you remember that buddy,

yes, that teacher with an elaborate hairstyle?

Let’s start with another quiz game

as the dawn of a new day.

The question is always the same:

are you ready to play?

Remember to answer carefully

weigh your choices,

but also live instinctively

and raise your voices.

The message is simple:

accept new challenges,

bite life like an apple

and keep exploring languages.

No matter if English or Spanish,

Messi or Ronaldo,

enjoy being childish

and shine like an italian smeraldo.

You’re a bumblebee

flying from a flower to another,

dwelling a rich fruit tree

with puzzle tabs to gather.

See that dancing sparkle?

Paint it, play with no hesitation

Even though you might startle,

improvise on the pace variation.

The casting of this glow

took me at colourful Lenkey,

where love can freely grow

from all the students’ lelkei.

You gave me the most valuable thing

and I feel like a dog with its ball

spreading love and ready to sing.

That’s why I want to thank you all.

It’s the beautiful longing

embrace the unknown,

your gratitude is calling

you can now fly on your own.
